What the AEROTANK delivers in your operation:

  1. Moving your aircraft shouldn’t be difficult: In many operations, moving a helicopter still requires significant physical effort, multiple people, and maneuvers performed with limited visibility.
  2. Connect the AEROTANK. Move your aircraft on your own: A single operator can easily connect the AEROTANK to the aircraft and remotely control the entire ground movement.
  3. Position yourself where visibility is best. Control every maneuver: With the remote control in hand, the operator can walk around the aircraft and position themselves wherever visibility is best, allowing for more precise, controlled and safer maneuvers — even in confined spaces.

What changes in your aircraft operation

The conventional wayWith the AEROTANK

The aircraft is pushed and pulled by hand.

Movement runs on 100% electric traction.

Small position adjustments can be more laborious, especially in tight spaces.

Positioning the aircraft becomes safer to handle in narrow spaces.

Movement depends more on strength, practice and manual coordination.

The maneuver gains more stability and safety in the routine.

The operation tends to create more wear day after day.

The hangar gains more practicality and control over movement.

One tug. Two configurations.

Swap the attachment in the hangar and use the same AEROTANK T10 to move fixed-skid helicopters and airplanes with landing gear.

Landing gear

The cradle is precision-machined for a perfect fit to the aircraft landing gear, to move wheeled aircraft such as airplanes and helicopters with retractable landing gear.

Common questions

How much aircraft can the AEROTANK move?

Up to 10,000 kg MTOW (about 22,000 lb).

Does the same tug work for airplanes and for skid helicopters?

Yes. You can use the same AEROTANK to move airplanes and helicopters with retractable landing gear as well as skid helicopters. Just switch the quick-change attachment between the wheel cradle and the skid arm.

Can one person hook up and move a skid helicopter alone?

Yes. The AEROTANK with the electric arm was designed specifically so that a single operator can hook up and move the aircraft alone.

Does a single support arm fit every fixed-skid helicopter?

Yes. The universal support arm has telescopic adjustment that adapts to different fixed-skid helicopter models, with no need to change the attachment.

Is it really hydraulic-free?

Yes. The AEROTANK is fully electric, with no gasoline and no hydraulic oil. That removes the leak, oil-change and hydraulic-failure downtime that conventional electro-hydraulic tugs usually have.

How does charging work?

The tug charges by driving it with the remote control until it touches the charging base — no need to bend down or plug in any cable. It also comes with a cable for charging away from the base, if you prefer.

Does operating it inside an airport require a special licence for the operator?

No. Because the AEROTANK is operated by remote control from outside the machine, it does not require the special airport driver authorization that conventional ride-on tugs demand.

Can it work outdoors, in the rain?

Yes. The AEROTANK is certified for operation in heavy rain.
